Kockney Koi Pond Medic Formalin 30% is an effective treatment against White Spot, Skin Flukes, Costia, and other parasites.
Directions:
Start by switching off the UV sterilizer until the course of treatment is complete. Ensure the cap is tightened and the product is well mixed. Measure the appropriate dose using a clean watering can filled with pond water, adding the Formalin using the measuring cup to achieve the correct dose. Slowly apply the solution to the pond over the course of one hour to prevent any sudden shocks to the pond ecosystem. Please note that Formalin should not be used with sturgeon, tench, or golden orfe. Additionally, DO NOT USE the product when the water temperature is below 12.5°C.
Dosage:
Use 10ml per 682ltrs (150 gallons) of pond water. Repeat the dose every 5-7 days, for a maximum of 3 doses.
Important:
Accurately calculate your pond volume; avoid guessing.
Monitor your fish closely during all treatments. Avoid administering the treatment late at night, the day before your departure, or just before leaving the house.
Ensure proper aeration during the treatment. If necessary, use an additional air pump.
Maintain filtration throughout the treatment period.
Turn off ultraviolet filters during treatment.
Avoid overdosing, as it can cause fish fatalities.
Do not use in conjunction with any other medications.
Do not use if the liquid has gone cloudy or has crystallized.
